CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy determines the cancellation Terms & Conditions for a passenger/drivers, for their trips to be taken or performed.

PASSENGER

Point to point booking

  • In the event that you use GOAMILES Taxi App, you indirectly authorises us to make use of the Payment methods to book taxi which are normally done by Digital Payments like debit or credit card or cash. A standard cancellation fee to cover the cost of administering the booking and subsequent cancellation will be levied. The amount of the cancellation fee is proportionate or can be direct flat fees depending upon the scenarios generated. Right now we have kept a flat fees.
  • The cancellation fee shall be payable upon each booking which is made and subsequently cancelled.
    1. For bookings made from Airport location, a minimum charge of the relevant tariff will be applied if you have pre-booked and cancelled after 3 minutes, a flat fee of INR 142.86 + GST
    2. For bookings made from a non-airport location, a minimum charge of the relevant tariff will be applied if you have pre-booked and cancelled after 3 minutes, a flat fee of INR 95.24 + GST
  • Cancellation of the transport provider anywhere in the state of GOA, should not be challenged in any court of law & that depending upon availability we may charge the premium prices, in certain conditions, during rush hours and or during night hours is completely accepted by you and you won’t held us liable for any action, whatsoever in this respect.
  • You are also to be informed that you need to pay the Parking Charges in Premium areas as this is cost to us like Panjim Airport, Premium District Areas in GOA, etc.., where this kind of pricing is mandatory.

Point to Point Schedule booking

  • Cancellation before 55 min from planned start time / before cab allocation.

    There are no fees applicable in case the request received before 55 min from the planed start time.

  • Cancellation within 55 min from planned start time/ After cab allocation and before cab reach to the pickup point.

    Minimum INR 150 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. These fees will be settled as INR 75 to the taxi owner / driver and remaining INR 75 with GoaMiles for the handling charges and taxes part.

  • Cancellation on / after planned start time and cab not yet reached to the pickup location.

    Minimum INR 150 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. These fees will be settled as INR 75 to the taxi owner / driver and remaining INR 75 with GoaMiles for the handling charges and taxes part.

  • No Show/cancellation on / after planned start time and cab already reached to the pickup location.

    Minimum 50% of the trip charges or INR 250 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. This fees will be settled as 50% to the taxi owner / driver and remaining amount will be settle for GoaMiles for request handling charges including tax.

RENTAL BOOKING:

Rental booking

  • In the event that you use GOAMILES Taxi App, you indirectly authorises us to make use of the Payment methods to book taxi which are normally done by Digital Payments like debit or credit card or cash. The amount of the cancellation fee is proportionate or can be direct flat fees depending upon the scenarios generated. Right now we have kept a flat fees.
  • The cancellation fee shall be payable upon each booking which is made and subsequently cancelled. A minimum charge of the relevant tariff will be applied if you have pre-booked and cancelled after 5 minutes, a flat fee of INR 68.00 + GST
  • Cancellation of the transport provider anywhere in the state of GOA, should not be challenged in any court of law & that depending upon availability we may charge the premium prices, in certain conditions, during rush hours and or during night hours is completely accepted by you and you won’t held us liable for any action, whatsoever in this respect.

Outstation Schedule booking

  • Cancellation before 55 min from planned start time / before cab allocation.

    There are no fees applicable in case the request received before 55 min from the planed start time.

  • Cancellation within 55 min from planned start time/ After cab allocation and before cab reach to the pickup point.

    Minimum INR 150 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. These fees will be settled as INR 75 to the taxi owner / driver and remaining INR 75 with GoaMiles for the handling charges and taxes part.

  • Cancellation on / after planned start time and cab not yet reached to the pickup location.

    Minimum INR 150 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. These fees will be settled as INR 75 to the taxi owner / driver and remaining INR 75 with GoaMiles for the handling charges and taxes part.

  • No Show/cancellation on / after planned start time and cab already reached to the pickup location.

    Minimum 50% of the trip charges or INR 250 will be applicable as a cancellation fee. This fees will be settled as 50% to the taxi owner / driver and remaining amount will be settle for GoaMiles for request handling charges including tax.

(*** Cancellation fee is defined keeping goa as tourist place, any inventory allocation is subject to planning in a day advance, hence the interest of taxy owner has to be maintained).

DRIVER

Driver is central point of the service and we being into service industry needs to adhere to certain industry practises and keep in control the strict discipline to be able to give that standards to the services seeked from passengers. Following are cancellation policies

  • In the event that you use GOAMILES Taxi App, you directly & indirectly authorises us to get the cancellation policy being implemented as below. Keeping in view to keep discipline, a standard cancellation fee to cover the cost of administering the booking and subsequent cancellation will be levied. The amount of the cancellation fee is proportionate or can be direct flat fees depending upon the scenarios generated
  • The cancellation fee shall be payable upon each booking which is accepted & subsequently cancelled, a flat fees of INR 79.99 would be levied
  • Cancellation of the transport services anywhere in the state of GOA for any reason, should not be challenged in any court of law & this forms the law of binding the service standards is completely accepted by you and you won’t held us liable for any action, whatsoever in this respect

AGENT

Only authorized user enrolled for GoaMiles Agent Panel shall use GOAMILES agent panel, each registered users indirectly authorizes us to make use of the Payment methods to book taxi which are normally done by Digital Payments like online payment or debit or credit card.

In the event that passenger wish to cancel the trip booked though agent panel. Such request can be initiated by Agent Panel Operator. The cancellation fee + GST shall be payable upon each booking which is made and subsequently cancelled. Cancellation fee will be as per the type of booking as below.

Dispute of cancellation charges

If you think you were wrongly charged a cancellation fee, then please reach out to us on support@goamiles.com with a valid reason.

  1. Requests for waiver must be made within 48 hours of the cancellation.
  2. The decision to waive cancellation charges rests on discretion of GoaMiles Team investigating the subject matter, based on the validity and sincerity of the reason provided.
  3. Waivers, if approved, will result in the reversal of cancellation charges back to your GoaMiles wallet.

REFUND POLICY

This policy determines the REFUND Policy with Terms & Conditions for a passenger, for their respective rides to be taken or performed on GOAMILES platform.

  • In the event that you use GOAMILES Taxi App & GOAMILES Portal for booking, due to known circumstances you cancel your ride, then the paid amount would be automatically added to the GoaMiles (GM) Balance. This GM Balance can be reused for further booking of the cabs for paying the conveyance fees for further rides. This Balance which will be added would be updated after deducting the cancellation charges as applicable. The amount of the cancellation fee is proportionate or can be direct flat fees depending upon the scenarios generated. Right now we have kept a flat fees
  • In case the ride is cancelled by the driver, the paid amount will be added to GoaMiles Balance straight away & can be used for further rides
  • In case of ride not being served by driver, your amount would be directed to GoaMiles Balance, which can be used for further goamiles rides or can be refunded
  • In case of any failed transaction depending upon the time of disconnect of the payment process, it would be credited through payment gateway, to your payment instrument (Credit card, Debit card, etc..) or it will get credited to your goamiles balance
  • In case you want refund of all the money from GoaMiles Balance, The refund process of the eligible transactions (maximum of available balance) will be initiated by the user from the Application, through “REFUND” option in the mobile app. Any transaction which is done within 5 month will be considered as eligible refund transaction. If user have GoaMiles balance available and there isn’t any eligible transaction for refund, they can utilize the amount for the services offered by GoaMiles online. The requested balance will be refunded to user’s account from which the transaction has been made after deducting the bank charges
  • REFUND of the balance would be done after applicable charges/taxes are being deducted. Please make sure that you get your refund money calculations accordingly. There are standard 7-10 days of policy for the same, should not be challenged in any court of law & that depending upon availability we may charge the premium prices, in certain conditions, during rush hours and or during night hours is completely accepted by you
  • The refund request will be processed within 10 working days from GoaMiles and it will be credited to beneficiary account as per the bank standard refund policies
